Phoenix family needs a part-time tutor to help my 7th grade daughter advance in ELA and writing skill

Times: Three times per week in the mornings between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. or the afternoons between 4-6 p.m. Dates May 29, 2023 to July 7, 2023 I am looking for an enthusiastic and passionate elementary school teacher (ideally third grade teacher) to teach my two children (ages 5 and 6) about science, math, and English in a play-oriented environment. Kids are interested in learning about body systems (skeletal, muscular, nervous, digestive, and respiratory), cells, and viruses. I would like for them to practice writing sentences and stories.

My family needs a part-time teacher for Special Education, Art, English, Math, Science, reading and writing. We desire to home school our 4th and 6th grader kids. Some level of special ed necessary to help with learning difficulties and curriculum building. Need teaching certificate and 5 years experience .

My 8 1/2 yr old was diagnosed with ADHD almost 1 yr ago. School is currently considering an evaluation for special education due to his scores with writing and reading. He is improving since last school year and we would all love to show the school these continued improvements and keep him in the general population. His issues come largely from a lack of confidence that developed last school year, after returning to a regular school day. When hes confident or encouraged he is able to demonstrate these skills, as well as math skills, with more prominence. Still, tests, long reading segments, writing, math, can all be overwhelming to him until he slows down and considers each word/problem separately. Then he can get it. We really hope to help him grow academically.

Looking for someone with a fun attitude to tutor my 8-year-old second grader in math, reading and Spanish. Please be knowledgeable in current teaching methods of math. My daughter is a little behind math and reading. We are hopeful to get these basics reinforced and solid so future math and reading will be less of a struggle. She is primarily a native English speaker and attends a dual language school and needs more Spanish practice also. They like to learn by play and repetition, she is eager to learn and her attention span is age appropriate. With this tutoring I would like emphasis on confidence reinforcing that learning is fun! Tutoring will happen possibly online, but preferred in person for now at least. I can't update "job req's" for some reason, but no degree req'd or pets in the home. My daughter was diagnosed with VPI and had a successful surgery. She attends school during the day and sees a speech therapist once per week to teach her the new anatomy gifted during surgery, but M is behind as a result.

I am looking for additional support from either a teacher or teachers aid. Focus areas are reading and writing. There are some attention issues so looking for a total of 1-2hrs per week that can be split in to different shifts. Additional needs include having a reliable car and being comfortable with pets. Subject Areas: Special Education, English, Math.

I have 2 boys ages 9 and 11. Both are homeschooled and need additional help with writing. They need help learning paragraph and essay structure, how to write a book report vs. Fiction vs essay. My 11-year-old could use any help with spelling also. We are thinking 2-3 times a week 30-45 minutes individually for each of them 1:1. We may identify other things that they need help with. We can be flexible with dates/times.

Scottsdale family needs a part-time tutor for reading and writing. The student is 4, 5 years old and has had VPI surgery to assist with her speech. Student attends a school program during the day and sees a speech therapist once per week.

We are looking for a teacher to come in part time to work as a team with the mother who is homeschooling using a based curriculum. Particular help is needed with the 7-year-old son in English as he was previously in a French school and struggles with writing, spelling and grammar. These areas will need to be focused on in the context of the pre established curriculum ad lesson plans. The 10-year-old will need help from time to time with science and math but will not require the bulk of teaching. The right candidate will be an experienced teacher who is well versed in multiple methods to help the student understand areas not grasped at first try. The teacher must be structured, firm and ideally have an international outlook on life as the family is an international family. Understanding of English spellings a must.
