I am very energetic and love the outdoors. I love story telling, crocheting, knitting and languages. I speak English, Spanish and French. I have worked with children of all ages in several different settings, basically my entire adult life. I have taught several different classes in private schools and the home school arena including computers, music and movement, character, and Spanish. I have an AA in broadcasting and equivalent to an AS in early childhood development. I also volunteered with the Red Cross to teach little ones how to swim in the shallow pool from 2002 to 2005. Therefore, I am trained in CPR, First Aid and Water Safety procedures. Once I had my children I decided that was more important to me than a career. I decided to invest my life in them so I home schooled them from 2001 to 2007. They are now grown and I am very satisfied with the young men they have become. My eldest just graduated from college where he majored in history and education. He is married and they both work and are part of a Spanish ministry. My youngest who is 15 just started high school this year. He has consistently played baseball since he was 4. He plays the piano and sings, makes the honor roll every report card and is a part of our church choir and bus ministry. I have been a church volunteer nursery worker for the last 15 years. I started when my youngest was born and never left. Presently, I serve as a volunteer every Sunday morning in the nursery at my church where I keep newborns to 2-years-old. I have also worked with children two to high school in the homes school arena, teaching and in youth groups. I have experience with large groups of all ages as well. As you can see, I have extensive experience with children of all ages. I am very reliable and trustworthy and have references to back that up. I taught swimming in the shallow pool with the red cross for several years when my children were young from 2002 to 2005 and am familiar with CPR and first aid as well as water safety procedures. I like to have fun with children and am very energetic. I believe that children can never learn too much or have too much fun. I also believe consistent discipline is needed to train children to be obedient and faithful. I have a very strong conviction that each family has their own identity and that it is important for caregivers to help the parents strengthen it and continue to develop it.
