I am looking for a tutor to come to my home in Portage to help my 8th grade son with virtual learning and homework , especially in the subjects of English, math, science and social studies. Past experience in learning French or a foreign language would be helpful as he doesn't know how to study and learn a foreign language, especially on line. (Knowing French is not a requirement- only how to study it). Help with study skills and how to get the most out of a virtual lesson is a must. Hours/days are flexible. I am willing to work around your schedule if needed.

Portage adult looking for a part-time Spanish language tutor. For my job it would be very beneficial for me to be bilingual. I would love to be tutored 1-2 times a week for as long as it takes.

Portage Public School students (3rd grade boy and 4th grade girl) could sure use your help! Mom and Dad are open to alternate hours/days, but we'd love to invite you to provide the kids with approximately 18-20 hours/wk of enhanced instruction to ensure they are getting the most out of the PPS remote learning curriculum. The kids are enthusiastic learners with different styles. Our first born is driven by achievement and competition, while our son is curious and inquisitive by nature. Both are developing a love for reading, and are good students. We have a dedicated space under construction, and plenty of outdoor space to take learning breaks or excursions. Our friendly dog loves to meet new people too! We keep a clean home, and if you're up for it, would love to have help prepping lunch for the kids on the days you're with us.

Portage family needs a full-time tutor for Test Prep, English, Math, Foreign Language, Science. * Looking for a Certified Secondary Ed Teacher or education major with tutoring/teaching experience who can provide educational support to High School Freshman. Applicant must be available four days/week to sit with student and make sure they log on, participate in class, teach test prep and organizational skills, keep student on track during the day, be familiar with Google Classroom, wiling to communicate with student's teachers and teach student to do the same. Student has Algebra I (already has a tutor two days/week after school to help with this), Spanish II, Honor's American History, Chemistry, ELA.

Piano Lessons, Soccer, & Tutoring (varying days), appointments as necessary. Homework Assistance as necessary. My daughter is 10 in 5th grade. I am looking for care specifically 3 days a week for 3 weeks a month. I travel for work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and am home one week a month for financial reporting. I need the assistance of picking up from school, returning home with my daughter to keep her on her routine (homework, chores, pack lunch, get ready for bed), and then for this individual to stay overnight Tuesday, and Wednesday (I typically arrive home Thursday). My travel is planned two-weeks in advance, so plenty of time will be provided for scheduling Drop off to school would be by 8:30a During the school year, the waking hours would be 7:30a-8:30a + 3:30p-9p - 6 hours at hourly wage + $50 overnight. During the summer, the waking hours would be 7:30a-9p - 13 hours at hourly wage + $50 overnight. Sick days or snow days paid out at the full day (summer) rate. As a single mother, I could use as much help as possible to keep my daughters room tidy, running errands during the waking hours, and bringing my daughter to tutoring or extracurriculars during the waking hours post-school. This will be a very easy job as my daughter is school-age and quite self-sufficient. Ideal for college students. Even on weeks I am traveling locally in the Michigan area and may stay home, I will still pay for the daily waking hours, and no overnights would be needed - will communicate in advance!
