I Have CNA Certification, From N.Y. I Did My Internship With Alzheimer S Patients.
I worked in International Banking, prior to having children, who are now both grown. I worked at Mt. Sinai in NY, as a Patient Advocate, focusing on the Emergency Room, but visited all New admits to assure they were pleased with the care. I also served on The NYC School Board for 30 years. Most of those years I served as the president. I also was a child and parent advocate and oversaw the education of 36, 000 students in 38 schools. I decided to take a CNA course, since I preferred the medical field, as opposed to the corporate world. During my 1st assignment I was trained to change wound dressings. I was also taught how to do Physical Therapy with patients, how to operate the machines and logged vitals, after each machine workout was completed. I truly enjoy helping people and find older people to be extremely fascinating and interesting. It is wonderful to hear first hand how people lived and survived in the past. During my past time I enjoy reading, painting and going for walks.
