I need a hands-on care provider experience for my wife in her 50s. Activities include, Companionship, prepare simple lunch, assist with transfers. Mainly companionship. The only hands-on is assisting with transfers to/from wheelchair.
My wife has had a stroke affecting Right side mobility. She also has chronic expressive aphasia- she understands you, but communicates thru yes/no responses and some gestures. She is also severely depressed.
My daughter is her primary caregiver while I work 1st shift. My daughter is pregnant and due at the end of March. I need a caregiver for a few weeks while she is out on leave. My work schedule can be flexible, so partial days, mornings only, or alternate days could work. This position could extend long-term for respite care as well - working around your schedule.
