The Young at Heart Learning Center wants to make learning a natural and fun part of your child's day. The teachers will help your child feel comfortable with learning by creating an atmosphere which emphasizes the positive qualities that your child possesses, and by utilizing items familiar to him/her. Creative academics and exploration centers will help your child to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
The Center's purpose is to provide quality care to the children in the surrounding communities. We want to fulfill the need for a caring, creative learning environment for pre-school children 2.9 years to 5 years old. The Young at Heart Learning Center does not discriminate in providing services to children and their families based on race, religion, cultural heritage, disabilities, political beliefs, marital status, sexual orientation,or national origin. The curriculum is offered to help children develop social skills, and self-help skills. The children have an opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace in their own time.
The director will meet with the parents and child during registration. A tour and the center's schedule will be discussed. Parents will receive all forms and parental rights packet information. Parental involvement is encouraged and visits to the center are welcome anytime. Progress reports or parent conferences will be held every six months.
The Department of Early Education and Care licenses the Young at Heart Learning Center.
