Judah Circle Trenton, TX

Wild Roots Farm and Preschool/Learning Center is a fun and nurturing place for littles to grow and learn through play and creativity. Daily adventures will include learning through play, songs, lessons, stories, and also learning from small animal farming (chickens, goats, ducks, turkeys, dogs, and cats), organic gardening, and physical activity such as yoga and nature walks. We will enjoy being in the sunshine as much as possible. I am currently looking for 2 to 3 children, preferably preschool aged (3-4), but I am flexible. We are a small in home learning center with big adventures. I am a Texas certified Early Childhood - 6th grade teacher who has a Master's degree in Education. I have been in education for 8+ years working with children from Pre-K through 8th grade. I had a small home daycare when my oldest child was very young and I was earning my Masters degree in Elementary Education and I absolutely loved it. Since Graduate school I have been in the classroom for 6 years working with K-8th grade students and I am staying home again for several years with my youngest child (and possibly beyond). For the past 5 years I have been a Gifted and Talented teacher with McKinney ISD. We have a new home on almost 4 acres in Trenton Texas (In Trenton High Meadows by Trenton High School) where all our adventures will be happening. Each day we will focus on not only intellectual, but also social, emotional, physical, and language development. There is so much more I would like to share with you about the learning and practices of Wild Roots Learning Center! Please contact me for more details. If I do not answer my phone, please leave me voicemail or a text. I will get back to you as soon as I can. :) ****We will also be planning summer camps and summer care for a small number of Pre-K through elementary kiddos. My husband is also a teacher and will be home with me during the summer months. He is an amazing elementary math and science teacher, so our summer will have even more hands on projects and experiments! :) Thank you, Heather

Shelley A. says "Heather has been caring for my two kiddos for the last few months and I honestly couldn't be any happier or any more impressed! She keeps the kiddos...
