Most Childcare Centers and Early Childhood Education Centers here in the Richmond - Sugar Land area, and in Fort Bend County, are owned by individuals who have no background in Education or Teaching. At best the Directors at these centers are individuals who started in a classroom at the Center and maybe worked their way up, or took the CDA course, which is essentially a 3-week-course. That is not the case at The Kensington School, where both Owner-Directors have their Masters Degrees in Education and Teaching and both are former Classroom Teachers.
