I am a 49 year old mother of 3 that has worked with children since I was 18. I was a preschool teacher and assistant director for almost 20 years before teaching children in my home. I have cared for children ages newborn - 12. I have a fun and safe environment, with 2 1/2 acres to run and play in! You will receive a daily sheet with highlights of what your child does each day and progress reports to let you know how your child is progressing. There is also a Parent Board with lesson plans and monthly letters so you will know what your child will be learning. I have a playroom set up with different learning centers that the children really enjoy. Preschoolers 3-5 participate in individual and group activities, and receive a Weekly Reader magazine each week at no extra charge! All ages also have fun creating art projects, and I just added the on line learning curriculum ABC Mouse! Most of the children I teach are more than ready for kindergarten! I also work with the younger ones with motor skills, social skills etc. Some families in the past were with me for several years until kindergarten and have often told me how much their child has learned and how much they love coming to "Miss Shari's" house! Over the years, I have babysat for several police officers and currently take care of the children of an assistant fire chief. I currently have 4 full/part-time openings. Tuition is $25.00 per day and also includes 2 meals and snacks per day. With my daycare, all of the children and their families quickly become like family to us, and keep in touch even after their child has moved on to school! I also watch the children who start school, in the Summer, holidays and various school days off. In 13 years, I have only taken off two weeks when I had my son 10 years ago. I only take one vacation week per year, always in July, to spend quality time with my family. I am also available on Friday and Saturday evenings in your home at a cost of $10.00 an hour. I will bring an age appropriate bag of fun activities to ensure a fun time! I would love to hear from you and set up a time to meet you and your little one[s]! Thanks, Miss Shari
