It hit me like that- I need to be part of this world, advocating and exploring with our youngest people. I attended JJC to complete my Early Childhood hours and further DCFS required online courses through Gateways. In addition, I became CPR/First Aid certified. My best training (aside from parenting my own kids) came from teaching my amazing preschoolers. Under the wing of my director, I gained a world of insight. I also relish in communicating with the student's families about progress and what works best for their child. The child, however, is the greatest teacher. I believe in individuality regarding intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. Each child should always feel safe, comfortable, and trust their caregiver. I strive to see the child as they are and use what makes them them to navigate learning and growth. I see myself as someone always willing to communicate, the successes or concerns, so please know I am here for your family, approach me without hesitation. When your child(ren) is in my care, I take it to heart the same way as my own children. I am here to protect, nourish, create moments of joy, and instill a love of learning through play.
