Preschool
In our preschool classroom, we place an emphasis on academics, mindfulness, and earth connections. We offer a daily focus on language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. We also have art, music, and Spanish on special days of the week with our resident teachers for those subjects. Our academics are all about your kids. They learn about what they're interested in. If they want to know about dinosaurs, we integrate that into every aspect of our academic day. We teach them letter recognition, how to write those letters, the sounds they make, and words that start with those letters. For our older students or simply those who are advanced, we also begin to teach them reading. Most importantly, we focus on mindfulness in everyday activity. We teach our students to be aware of themselves and of others. We also focus on self-regulation and self-sufficiency to boost your child's confidence. Simple things like putting on their own shoes or getting out their own lunch boxes help them feel like they can do just about anything if they set their minds to it. Another part of this mindfulness is doing simple, age-appropriate yoga at the end of the day to help calm the mind and focus. As we are a newer school with a high staff number and low student number, this means that every child gets the focus and attention that they deserve. We have one Pre-K classroom with a head teacher and teacher's assistant that are present daily. We offer a flexible schedule, allowing you to choose whether your child attends full-time or even just one day a week. Tuition is flexible. We offer sibling discounts, a flexible payment schedule, and pro-rated tuition. There are 4 payment options 1 lump sum payment, 2 payments, 6 payments, or 10 payments. Please contact the office for further details as tuition varies upon need and other factors. This is why the cost is not listed on this page. To see more about our program and the rest of the school (Pre-K through 12th grade), check out our website! We would be more than happy to have you.
