I have a four year degree from Indiana University in Early Childhood Education in which I graduated with High Distinction. I have a great love of teaching children. I have four children of my own -- an eight year old daughter, a seven year old son, a five year old son, and a two year old son. My older two kids go to school full time and my five year old goes to half day kindergarten. I am looking to watch and teach a small group of children along with my two year old son so we can go on daily outing as part of our learning. Weekly activities include: the park, library story time, play groups, The Children's Museum, EnterTrainment, play dough, painting, cooking/baking, cutting and pasting, and sensory activities. Daily Activities include: reading picture books, singing songs, coloring, puzzles, sensory table, counting activities, alphabet activities, outside play time, jobs, and toys. I believe in hands on learning. Children learn by doing. All activities that I plan help children grow and learn at the level they are at developmentally. I integrate math, science, social studies and phonemic awareness into our play. I use many Montessori ideas in my home; however, not all of my activities are Montessori. I studied Sign Language at Purdue University and have taught it to all of my children.

I am working toward my CDA and at present working as Assistant Teacher.

Linda's Love And Learn Preschool/daycare

3653 Amity Lane Middletown, OH

I am a loving and dependable childcare provider with over 10 years of experience teaching pre-school. I have decided to open up my home and start my own business. I raised my 4 daughters and also took care of many other children. Then I ventured into the working world and taught preschool for 10 years. Children are my passion and I love everything about them. By coming to me you will get the one on one attention your child deserves by the small class size. Each day we will have a preschool lesson that caters to your child's level. I provide nutritious breakfast and lunch with snack also included. Watching children learn and grow is what I really love. When you can't be with your child you can be rest assured that they will be cared for by the next best thing. Its not like going to daycare but instead going to visit grandma (which I also am a loving GiGi of 3 little boys).
