Kristin says "My two children went to Little Dragonfly's for several years and they loved every minute of it. They still talk about going back to visit Melissa. Melissa is one of a kind. She is the most patient person I know and so knowledgeable about child development. I learned so much from her. She's flexible, creative and most of all- loving. I did not worry for a moment when I left my 10 week old baby with her."
Our primary focus is on the development of social-emotional skills. We make every effort to model attentive listening, teach body language awareness of self and others, show kindness and empathy toward one another, and teach language and literacy skills through conversation, reading, games and other activities. All ages join together in play, crafts and mealtimes. This model has proven to support all areas of development.
