Tasha's Toddlers

9461 Case Rd Brooklyn, MI

< 1 mi

My name is Natasha, I am a wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of two. I have been running an in-home daycare since 2004, which originated in Grass Lake and ran for 7 years until we relocated to Brooklyn 3 years ago. My daycare is run out of my fully finished walkout basement, and we have a fenced in backyard to help ensure your child's safety. We have two small dogs in our home, but they are kept separated from the children upstairs, but on occasion pop in to say hello. I am currently licensed to care for six children. I care for ages newborn until they begin Kindergarten. By the time your child attends school, they will have learned to identify, write and know the sound of both lower and upper case letters. They will learn their vowels, both long and short sounds, and combination sounds. Identify numbers 1-100, to count by ones and tens, learn colors, shapes and the solar system and participate in daily arts and crafts. This is a Christian daycare, so I will say a short prayer over our meals, we do watch Veggie Tales and occasionally read short bible stories. Current hours of operation are 6:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m., but my hours are set to my current parent's needs, my hours are flexible. Two meals and two snacks are provided daily. My current tuition is $100.00 per week, but with the high costs of food, I ask that my parents either pay $10.00 a week extra to help with providing meals and snacks, or bring a gallon of milk, bottle of juice, and snack on a weekly basis. Parents are also asked to provide baby formula, wipes and diapers for their child. Daycare is closed with pay, on all major Holidays, that fall on a scheduled work day. Parents are expected to pay whether children attend or not, with the exception of ten days vacation that I offer all full-time parents, but these vacation days must be used with a one week notice and not during my scheduled vacation time. Your children will be loved, safe and nurtured in my care. My daycare is not just a daycare this will become your child's second home.
