Our school is open during the school year and our preschool program is part time. We currently do not offer child care for our preschool students. Our 3 year old students attend on T/Th from 8:05-11:00 and our 4 year old students attend school on M/W/F from 8:05-11:00. Our Young 5 students are in school M-Th from 8:00am-3:00pm. We do not have school or care for our Young 5 students on Fridays. Elementary school students are eligible for before and after care programs. I am amazed at how our school has grown over the past few years! What a magnificent blessing this school has been to this community! We have welcomed beautiful children and amazing families who entrust us with them each day. We are excited to accept new preschool and elementary students as we continue to grow. For those of you who don’t know, the school opened its doors in the fall of 2018 and welcomed 45 students in grades Preschool through Kindergarten. Our first year was exciting and humbling as we learned together and began forming the school we wanted to become. Now, a few years later, we have several students whose family chose St. Robert as the place to call home as their educational choice for their children. In 2018, we simply wanted you to know that our school’s story was beginning and that it started here with all of you. Now, a few short years later, we have found something very special, and spiritual is happening in the halls of the school and within our parish. Children are entering this building every day, excited to learn about God and grow in their faith. They look forward to praying with their classmates and attending Mass together. Yes, they are learning to read, understand numbers and mathematical concepts, and all the other subjects that go along with a fantastic school, but most importantly, they are immersed in their Catholic faith for 8 hours each day. We are committed to continuing to evolve our programming, focusing more intentionally on building the STEM curriculum into our Catholic immersion model and grow our 3-year-old preschool and elementary school. This immersion of faith is what makes a Catholic school special. Here, we can tell our students that we love them, and share in their lives in a unique way because we share these special and spiritual beliefs. Our student body is growing, because families are yearning for a safe place where their children can learn and grow. I try to meet the parents wish list when searching for the right care for their child. Take a look at some of what we offer. This is not your normal home daycare. If you like what you read please email me or call me to set up a good time to meet. Please know that I NEVER do a first meeting at my home. Because this is a home daycare I like to keep safety number one and this being the internet you never know who you are meeting with at first. So giving someone my address before meeting someone especially when I care for others children makes me very uncomfortable. We provide full time, part time and before and after school care. I also provide 2nd and 3rd shift day care with limited availability. We dedicate a part of the day to sitting down and learning. This includes reading, learning to count, ABC's, learning to write letters. We work on a preschool to kindergarten level. All of my daycare children by the age of 4 have been able to count and write all the way 30 (most can count higher). Some are above those things but this is the standard that I set. I try to work with each kid individually as well as in groups to help them meet their full potential before heading off to school. I provide breakfast, lunch and two snacks throughout the day. I try to keep things as healthy as I can with lots of fresh fruits and veggies and balanced meals. Unlike state standards I do not consider pizza sauce and ketchup a veggie. For before school care I do pack and provide a lunch if you would like for your child. Above all we have fun! The kids have a 800 sq ft play room with foam flooring and wall to wall toys. I try to make this a home away from home. Be secure and happy where your child is. Leaving your child is hard and we try to provide the best!
