Academic Tutoring and Piano, Violin, Viola And Flute Lessons With European Trained Teacher
I was born in Poland, where I began playing violin at age 6. I finished 12 years of music, violin, piano, music theory, and harmony and ear training education, as well as music history education in Poland. I graduated there with a degree in violin performance. I performed there with the Opera and Operetta of Cracov, Poland, and taught violin in first and second degree music school in Cracov, Poland, where I also attended pedagogy classes held by my previous violin teacher. In 1989, I moved to the U.S. making Chicago my home for the next seven years. I performed there with several orchestras. I also performed as a freelance musician in a guitar duo. I continued private teaching until I moved to South Florida in 1996. I lived in Pompano Beach, and for the past 13 years, I have been residing in the city of Margate. Here, I started music programs for children and adults, in several community schools, including the J. P. Taravella High School, where I worked closely with Mr. Peter L., the Margate Middle, the Coral Springs Middle, the Boca Raton Middle School, and Winfield Christian Academy, where I taught group piano lessons. In 1999, I worked for the Back Stage Music Studio in Boca Raton, where I taught violin. I also performed with the Florida Atlantic University Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, and attended pedagogy classes, and I studied with a former Florida Philharmonic player. I am a graduate from Florida Atlantic University with Music Education degree and starting by-lingual education program in the Master's program. I am currently a freelance musician and a private teacher, as well as an instructor at the Elite Music Instruction. I also perform with the Broward Symphony Orchestra and the Coral Springs Pops Symphony. All my students passed the National Federation of Music Clubs District Competition with excellent and superior ratings, and one of them has attended the well-known Bach Competition in Winter Park, Florida. My students are also playing in the Florida Youth Orchestra and the Broward County Gold Cup Orchestra. I am teaching violin as well as basic and intermediate piano using Suzuki and traditional methods. All my lessons include music theory and music reading skills. All my piano students participate at the Pompano Beach Piano Competition and the National Piano Guild with excellent results. I like to work with small children, as they require the most patience and understanding. I am experienced with young children as 4 years old and also with adults. In 2003 and 2005, two of my students earned music scholarship at the two central Florida universities. From 2005, I am attending Florida Atlantic University working on music education degree and participate in the university's "Healing with Music" program. I am also playing with the University's Symphony Orchestra. At the same time I tutor kindergarten to 12th grade students in English, math, science, and history, as well as in studying skills. I also perform on different events such as weddings, memorial services, and business events.
