I would structure my ideal day as one where someone comes in and cooks the recipes I have found and also helps clean the house and assists me with the chores. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver would be a female. One who is extremely hard working and is able to take direction/feedback well. They are able to read instructions from a recipe card and implement the way it is. They are careful with handling items and do a thorough job. They are organized and can help me organize my life and help clean my house. They are nice and professional. They dont take short cuts. They are trustworthy. They can take me to my doctors appointments if need to. They are dependable and reliable. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.

My mom is soft spoken & funny and thankfully has all her wits about her. Physically, she is in a wheelchair but can stand when assisted. She has head trauma from a past car crash & now has bad arthritis, so she needs help with pretty much everything she does. In particular meal prep, feeding, housekeeping (laundry, cleaning), companionship (board games, golf cart outings), bathing & dressing and getting to/from the toilet on her many bathroom trips. She lives w/ my dad who cares for himself. We are looking for a live-in caregiver to act as head of household. So, in addition to your regular caregiver duties the ideal candidate would coordinate the schedule for 2 addt. caregivers as well as facilitate getting my mom to her appts. **We are also looking for a full-time daily caregiver which you will find posted under that category.
