Looking for someone that can work about 5 to 15 hours a week to help with household tasks & errands. Laundry, meal planning/prepping, grocery shopping, making calls for doctors' appointments, etc. Every so often, I may need you to drop things off at the post office or Goodwill. Just little things like that right now. I am a single mom of a 2-year-old, I run a business and I just have SO much to do it has gotten so overwhelming. I realize that getting an extra hand will help ease things in my life to go more smoothly and efficiently. Laundry is a pain point but honestly, 60% of it needs to be donated or trashed at this point! I am looking for someone flexible, as it may not always be the same days and same times but I am looking for someone who can at least put in 4-6 hours on the days they are working. Talk soon! :)

About who needs care: Mind is sharp. She was independent at home before her recent hospitalization. She is getting stronger everyday. She uses a walker but needs someone with her for safety. She can use the toilet herself just sometimes needs help standing. She only needs to have someone watch her get in and out of the shower. I am looking a couple of caring people to help out. About the care needs: Someone older is preferable. Need to crush her meds and put on/take off compression wraps on her lower legs. We need hands-on care to take care of my mother in Melbourne. She has had 2 strokes and still has some aphasia, so her speech is impacted. It can be hard for her to get out the right words sometimes. I am going out of town for a work trip and need help during the day while I'm gone. This weekend will be a trial, and if it goes well this could turn into more of an ongoing part-time opportunity (Mon-Fri). Assistance with medication is needed (she takes her pills one at a time). Some of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing, and light meal preparation (lunch only, microwavable lunches provided). Duties also include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets.

He is bed bound at this time but has been cooperating with minimal physical therapy moving arms and legs.
