Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandmother - Eleanor has no underly...

Part Time $17 – 24/hr Starts 08/15 Huntington Beach, CA
About who needs care: Eleanor has no underlying health conditions. She is 93 years old and has slight on-site of dementia. Ellie (what everyone calls her) has had a couple minor falls in the last 2 years and needs assistance with basic life tasks. She has lived alone for years and loves her home but she is getting to the age where she needs a-little extra help. She loves to talk, clean, watch tv and go for walks. Her ideal day would be getting up having some orange juice, taking her vitamins and eating breakfast. After breakfast she would tidy up the house, make her bed and get ready for the day. Then grab her walker and go for a short walk to grab her mail. She loves to watch tv and shop, although she no longer has a car when she used to she would shop and walk for hours. She would then eat some lunch, read and watch tv until dinner time. Ellie needs just a-little extra help 2-3 times a week only for 3-4 hours at a time. Looking for some extra help for our loved mom/grandma! About the care needs: An Ideal caregiver would be someone kind, understanding and who loves to talk. Ellie is a big talker, and very kind. She can be a bit stubborn at times but cant we all! Skills we are looking for in a caregiver would be someone with a valid drivers license with a good driving record, and patience. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
