Hi parents! My name is Jenny and I am looking to find 3 preschool children to teach in our home. My husband and I have a small 2 bedroom house and I have made one of our bedrooms into a small classroom. I like finding new toys and curriculum ideas to make and use for my students. I also like to challenge my students and help them reach their full potential. I will do academic evaluations on your child to see how smart they already are. This will help me know what I need to teach them. The evaluations tell me if your child already know basics like their letters, numbers, shapes and colors. At my preschool, we learn through play and also by doing school work. Examples of our activities: Messy play: Play-doh, play in flour, beans, and washing baby dolls in soapy water. Circle Time: pray before our day begins, say the pledge, do the calendar, weather, talk about our day, recite the ABCs, shapes, colors and numbers. We will sing songs, play musical instruments, and dance. Toys: wooden blocks, play bugs, farm, ocean and safari animals, dinosaurs, baby dolls, stacking bathroom cups, racing cars, Legos, play tools, etc. Outside: playing in the sandbox, playhouse, slide and swing set, riding a tricycle, scooting in a toddler car, pushing a grocery play grocery cart, kicking balls, chasing friends in the back yard, chalking on the back porch, taking a walk, pushing baby dolls in a stroller, talking on the porch and blowing bubbles. School work: worksheets like tracing/writing letters and numbers, learning how to spell our names without any help, tracing and writing our names, learning what the letters say, identifying shapes and colors, learning rhyming words, opposites, counting like items, counting 1-10 and higher, etc. All school work is age appropriate. Art: gluing, painting, cutting paper with scissors, ink stamps, paint sponges, stickers, drawing, coloring, etc. The above are just examples of things we can do together. We will have meals such as breakfast, snacks and lunch in which I ask the parents to bring for their child. We will also have a nap time but I supply the nap mats and blankets. I will talk to your kids, laugh & sing with them, pray with them, & give hugs too. I hope you will allow me to care for and teach your precious little ones. We will have SO much fun together!

Hope Diamond Daycare Operational Policies Registered Child Care Home Katrina Gonzales Child Care Provider My Goals and Philosophy of Child Care * Each child is an individual who has his/her own rate of physical development and own pace of learning. Each child is accepted, loved, nurtured, and taught as an individual with this thought in mind. * Encourage and build each child's imagination and creativity. * Instill a greater sense of self-worth and encourage self-confidence. * Provide activities and an environment that will nurture the child's self-esteem. * Every child is guided through the day with positive reinforcement in all activities, always encouraged to try to try again, and is never pressured into participation of any activity. * Discipline is always handled on this belief: The child is a good person - it is his/her behavior that is unacceptable and needs to be changed or guided to a more acceptable means of expression. * Parents are welcome to visit their child anytime during the day. I encourage parent involvement and participation, and I enjoy getting to know all the parents.
