A Kid's World Montessori School

A Kid s World is League City s best kept secret. Established in 1995, A Kid s World is a private Preschool and Day Care Center owned and operated daily by degreed educator, Tanya Davis, M.Ed. A Kid s World is nestled under large pecan trees and securely tucked away in the heart of League City. We provide warm, caring and stimulating learning environments to infants, toddlers and preschool children in a home like setting. We also provide before, after school care to children attending public schools.

The unique thing about our program is that we have taken the best of the Montessori Method and integrated it with the best of other effective teaching methods. All of our teaching methods are based on current research and best teaching practices. This clever integration allows your child to explore extended learning projects and theme based lesson that are academic focused, play oriented and both teacher and child directed.

A Kid s World is proud to have been selected as a 2013-2015 Texas School Ready Preschool through the University of Texas, Children s Learning Institute. A Kid's World is also accredited by the Texas Workforce Commission and has received the highest (four star) rating every year since 1996. We are proud to be a part of this voluntary program that requires periodic inspections and evaluations, IN ADDITION, to those required by state licensing. Additionally, A Kid s World is currently involved in the self-study portion of the most prestigious NAEYC Accreditation.
