I offer in-home child care services for children of all ages. I'm a stay at home mother of a kindergartner. I strive to provide the same care that I wanted for my son when I was working. Not only am I dependable, I treat the children like part of my family, and I'm affordable. I encourage play- meaning no sitting in front of the tv and other electronics all day long! There is plenty to do- books, toys, and games. My home is in a quiet county setting, so the kids get to go outside as much as they want. We occasionally do a special craft or project, and sometimes we take small trips to the park or similar places. My home is clean, safe, and non-smoking. Before I decided to become a stay at home mother, I worked for the same employer for 16 years. While that job wasn't in childcare, I have been around children my whole life. I am currently working on my Bachelors degree in Psychology, and focusing primarily on children. I do not run a large child care center. Since it's just myself, I limit the amount of children to 5 (and that includes my own son). I am fairly flexible with times, and days. I am also flexible with making nutritious food/snacks, or you can bring your own if you prefer. I am also an animal lover, so we have friendly dogs, cats, a rabbit, and lots of chickens!
I graduated with honors earning my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I worked at a Licensed Plus child care center for over a year as a teacher and decided I wanted to teach and be at home with my four year old as long as I can. I currently hold a Level 5 Teacher Credential from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and continue to increase my knowledge by attending workshops and conferences. I am also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid training and Water Safety. I recognize the significance of a child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development and work to increase a child's skill in all domains through play activities, and communication. I am offering part time to fulltime with different rates, hours 7am to 5pm, 3-5 year olds, all meals included.

I am a teenage girl who is looking for a job! I have babysat many times, and I have also been a teacher's assistant at my local elementary schools summer program! I have some experience in the special needs field, because my mother and grandmother worked in that field for quite a while, and I would tag along with them and do activities with their groups, and hang out with the attendees. I have also helped a student who had special needs in the summer program. I have my first aid, CPR and Heimlich certifications, and I absolutely love children. I plan to go into the psychology field, more specifically, ABA psychology. I love to have fun with kids, and I would never call it a babysitting job. for me it's always more of a play date!
