Two Stay at home moms looking to take on two kids each in Laura's beautiful Eliot home. Both moms have over 15 years of experience in childcare each. Amanda has a 3 year old boy and an 8 year old girl. Laura has a 7 year old boy and an 8 week old boy. We'd like to take on two kids each between the ages of 8 weeks and 3-4 years old. We have a fenced in back yard with a playground as well as a small playground for the little guys too. We're looking to do anytime between 8-5pm Monday through Friday, and perhaps before or after school for Eliot residents as we both have children that would need to get picked up off the bus. These could be a per case basis however we're more looking for full time kids. We have a great kid proof indoor area and outdoor area. I have a very large property set back a great distance from the road. We have 3 mini goats, 6 chickens and 2 big dogs (dogs are friendly but will be kept in separate area). We have a swing set and tons of space to run and play. I would love to teach the children skills like gardening and animal care (feeding the goats). I have a large section in my home that will be devoted entirely to the children full-time so that they can use the space freely. I love assisting children in expressing themselves creatively and don't shy away from making a mess and having fun. I have a wealth of arts and craft project ideas and will also get input from the children based on the things that make them happy and inspired. I have over 15 years of professional experience caring for people. I have babysat, nannied, and have been the Arts and Crafts Director at a camp. I have supervised group homes and day service programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. I have vast experience with developmental disabilities as well as allergies/sensitives high medical needs.
