Creative Child Preschool A certified family home child care and preschool program for children ages 2–5. At Creative Child Preschool, we provide a warm, loving environment where children can freely express themselves through play and discovery. Our program nurtures self-expression and growth through art, music, movement/dance, dramatic play, literacy, math, science, and nature exploration. We create an exciting and welcoming space where children engage all their senses—learning, exploring, and building friendships in meaningful ways. Conveniently located near the Columbia Sportswear and Nike headquarters campuses. Meet Julie Bride: Education, music, theater, and creativity have been a big part of my life. Both of my parents were teachers, so I learned the value of exploring and discovering my passions early in life. These passions include music, theater, art and working with children. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Portland. Family life is very important to me. My husband Phil and I have been very involved in our children’s education. I have volunteered in many activities, been a scout leader and participated in community service. Phil has led scouts and coached many youth sports plus been involved with and led youth sports organizations. I provided childcare for several years when my children were young. I have spent many years working with students in the Beaverton Schools as a volunteer teaching various subjects, including art literacy. As a part of my volunteer work I have served as a classroom and activities coordinator, chaperoned field trips and assisted with special projects. I will bring my passion working with children to Creative Child Preschool. Your children will experience the joys of learning with a large dose of creativity.

Our infant building is called the Cottage and it is set up on a hill with its own play area, part of which is also covered. We are a family owned center and the owner is also the center director.

My care is like a home away from home with a small group. At any given time you can be sure that they will get the attention they need. For toddlers I work with them on learning skills (ABCs, colors, songs, etc.). Older children will get help with school work and a focus on reading in down time. We also do a buddy system in the summer and breaks that allow younger children work with older children on reading and games! Outside play time is done as often as we can. We did a kid's garden and they had tons of fun watching it grow. We look forward to meeting new faces!

My name is Anne and caring for kids is my passion. I run a small group (up to 5 kids) daycare in a brand new home, which was specifically built with the needs of a day care group in mind. My daycare is licensed with the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Background Check Registry. I accept kids ages newborn - 4 years old full or part time and offer extended hours from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. If you have special requirements or odd schedules please don't hesitate to talk to me, I am always open for creative solutions. I do not only make sure that your children get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I also focus on healthy nutrition serving a second breakfast and a nutritious homemade lunch. After nap time and some more outside activities in my fenced backyard I serve a healthy snack, often fruit and/or vegetables and sometimes we reward the whole little group with some homemade cake or cookies. I am very punctual and reliable. If you entrust me with your children you can rest assured that I will provide the best and most professional care possible. I look forward to speaking with you about your children's needs. Please call 503- 503-799-7763 (mobile) or send an e-mail to anne@annestoddlercare.com.

Jenny W says "I'm very grateful I found Anne. Like many first time moms, I was fearful of the big daycare facilities so I opted for the smaller scale in home daycare....

Speaking from experience, I know how difficult it is to find good quality care. Someone who will offer your child the attention and nurturing that he/she needs. Since most of us work long hours, we are counting on our provider to fill in the gaps. That is where I come in. When you leave your children in my care, rest assured they are with family. Carrie's Fun Care is so much more than a facility. We are made up of 15 families who's children spend time growing, laughing, learning, creating, loving, and so much more throughout the week. In the two years, I have been in business, I have watched the same children blossom off one another and build such an amazing bond. It has been such a wonderful gift that I recently became certified so I could work with my preschoolers and prepare them for the year to come. Our days are packed with a structured daily routine that incorporates: ** Proper nutrition- I am part of the USDA Food Program which encourages healthy eating and lifestyle. I buy a lot of fruits and vegetables for our meals and cook a lot of chicken and fish. **Creativity- Kids are very visual creatures, so we have a great time playing with puppets, dancing, singing, painting, etc... Art is big fun with us. **Good values and hygiene - Having manners is very important, as well as good hygiene. We are raising tomorrow's adults, so please and thank you are the bare minimum! We have a routine of brushing teeth in the morning and after lunch and always washing our hands when we are finished in the honey pot. ** Exercise- Staying fit is very important. I personally try to run between 5-7 miles per day. Taking my kids out on a walk (rain or shine) is never a problem. Plus, its the best way to learn about the seasons, plants, trees, rocks, insects, etc. ** Relaxation- No matter how big or strong, everyone needs some personal time to rest. It helps us to stay strong and healthy. Plus, it makes it so we are not so grumpy. **Learning- Oh... So many ways to learn and have fun. Everyday we do our basics... spell our names, practice our ABC's and numbers, go over the months and days of the week, practice our fine motor skills through writing, using scissors, and crafts. We read books I provide and some the library lets us borrow. We truly have a jam packed day. ** Field trips- We not only offer a date night every other Fridays for my parents to go out and have fun. A few times a month, We take the kids to fun places that are educational.

Cheryl's Playful Bears home daycare was established 10 years ago after I gave birth to my second daughter. I have two other daughters, one going into sixth grade and the youngest is four. This is an amazing opportunity to place your child (children) into a well respected, loving environment with a day care that has extremely low turnover. Full-time day care (up to 48 hours per week) is only $125 per week for your children over 1 and under one is $175.00 per week (less with multiple child discount). Hours of operation are between 5:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Due to other responsibilities with my kids it is very important that all day care kids be picked up no later than 5:30 p.m. I am located in West Beaverton at the cross streets of 198th and TV Highway. I am under the jurisdiction of Reedville school district. I am fully registered with the state of Oregon and am subject to random visits to ensure quality of service and safety of the kids. I have never been sanctioned nor had a bad review. I am fully registered and certified in First Aid and CPR. Prior to opening my home daycare I worked in the medical field for 10+ years as well as taking care of my brother who is a quadriplegic. All food is provided with your monthly payment. Specialty foods (such as gluten-free products) may not be covered but will be discussed on a case-by-case basis if necessary. I have my food handler's license so you can rest assured your child will be well-nourished. I look forward to hearing from you very soon. Hello! I have had over 6 years of experience in child care. I love and believe that kids should have active lives in order to have a healthy life. I have baby sat and nannied for one predominate family. They had 2 boys and we had so much fun. While i was in high school my responsibilities were minimal and was only asked to watch them for date nights. I went to Portland State University which was close to their home. They increased my duties to morning, after school and weekend care. I really enjoyed the increased time and responsibility and started making lesson plans for the week. We would go on nature hikes, parks (learned new active games), entertainment resturants, cafts and art projects and more. My most memorable experience was a nature hike and we found a catapillar and make a habbitat for it. They were able to watch it go through it's metamophisis. We actually learned it was a moth and not a butterfly. They loved it. I now have my own little babby who just turned 9 month. This was an amazing experience and love taking care of her. She would be with me if looking after your children. She is the most easy going and happy baby. But the best part about having my own child and also taking care of someone else's children is that I now know how much parents love them. I have been coaching sports for over 10 years and currently coach club volleyball and will be an assistant coach at Portland State University for volleyball this upcoming fall. I also have an appreciation for the arts. My mother is music teacher and I have gown up learning music and actively participating in it. I think music is a great learning tool and incorporate that into my daily activies.
