My journey as a caregiver began 13 years ago when I became my mother's primary caregiver during her hospice care. I then cared for my grandfather in an assisted living home. Shortly after, I cared for my grandmother in a dementia care facility. Most recently I cared for my stepdaughter while she was on life support for 3 months in the icu. I assisted nurses with hygiene care and spent my nights reading and catering to her every need. I enjoy caring for people and am looking to do this in my spare time.
