About Sylva Kristine

Sylva has worked with arts organizations and schools including Pratt Fine Arts, Museo Art Academy, North Bend Elementary, Snoqualmie Elementary, Academy for Precision Learning, and Marvista Elementary. As an educator, Sylva prioritizes fostering an atmosphere of flexibility, authenticity, and safe expression for her students. Sylva's work as a nanny, tutor, and family assistant has been informed by and informative to her work as a teacher and artist. She has cultivated memorable and lasting experiences with many of the families she has had the privilege of growing with over the years. Building trusting relationships, creating a safe and happy atmosphere, and supporting the social/emotional well being of children in her community is always at the foundation of her work with families and schools.
