About Thunder

I am a fiddler and a mom to a 4-year-old looking for work I can bring my daughter along to. I have little paid sitting experience, but I have the experience of having cared for my daughter, and taking care of my siblings growing up. I grew up with a special needs brother who I diapered until he potty trained at the age of 10. With my own daughter, I pottied her from birth, and she was having 0-3 accidents a day when I took her out of diapers at 15 months old. I taught her ASL from birth and she used 20 signs by her first birthday, and I have tried to maintain what ASL she knows as she's developed her spoken language skills. I love taking her out on walks, rain or shine, and I love teaching her the names of plants that I know. My daughter has come to work with me her whole life, and does a great job occupying herself and letting me do my work. She adores hanging out with other kids when I work, and I think it's a lot of fun that I have a playmate to bring to your family.
