I have experience in behavioral health with adolescents and over 10 years of experience with kids from newborns to age 12. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified, fully vaccinated, and have reliable transportation. I recently nannied for a family in West Seattle and have local references. My caregiving style is nurturing, intuitive and developmentally informed. I have a special love for working with newborns and infants and enjoy supporting families in the early stages, helping with feedings, sleep routines or being an extra set of hands during the postpartum period. Lakyn is the best! She nannied for my family for a few years when my two boys were younger (starting at age 3 and 8). She is reliable, punctual, responsible, passionate, intelligent and enthusiastic. In addition, she is a safe and conscientious driver and even taught the kids some Spanish. I never had to worry when I was gone, knowing that the boys were so happy to be with her. The kids absolutely adored her and looked forward to her visits, which made transitions easy. Lakyn is intuitive when it comes to kids—she isn’t afraid to be silly and invent fun games to play. I have so many fond memories of coming home to hear them giggling away at some obstacle course challenge or army crawling through a fort city. She has an effervescent personality and is just a wonderful human being! I have zero hesitations in recommending Lakyn. She fit right into our family nest and left an indelible mark in our lives. It’s really hard to find a good nanny, and we’ve had several. Lakyn is worth her weight in gold.
