About Stephanie

Hi! My name is Stephanie. I currently work as a fourth grade teacher. I am in my twelth year as a teacher, previously I taught fifth grade in Denver Public Schools and Killeen Independent School District. I am very familiar with the common core standards and with the literacy and math skills students need to be most successful in upper elementary and middle school. I am also very passionate about early literacy and love teaching the foundational reading skills. As a teacher, I know how important one-on-one instruction can be in a child's academic progress. I have access to a variety of different resources for a variety of skills and can design a plan for your student based on what you think they need. As a mom of two myself, I understand the importance of connecting with kiddos and taking the time to identify how each student learns best. Starting the week of May 24, my summer availability is any time on Wednesday, Thursdays, and Fridays.
