About Marissa

Hi there! My name is Marissa and I am a recent graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, with a degree in Elementary Education and Dance. I am a licensed K-6 teacher, and am currently teaching 5th grade at LoveWorks Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. I'm looking to tutor on weekday afternoons or during the weekend, to help supplement hybrid or distance learning. I can help your student with their distance learning assignments or provide additional supplemental work. I've been working in K-6 classrooms for 4 years, and have extensive experience working one on one or in small groups with students. I also have 5 years of experience as a dance teacher and can instruct private dance lessons along with academic help.
