About Stephanie

For the past 10 years, I've been dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. I hold a graduate degree and create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I vary my teaching strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples is key! Communication is essential, and I value open dialogue with students and parents to ensure I'm meeting their needs. I have experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). Witnessing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding part of my work. I tutor elementary and middle school students in math, English, science, test preparation, special education, study skills, and history, and can meet at your home, online, or at the library.
