About Willow

Empowering students to unlock their unique potential is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With more than 25 years of working with students age 18 months through college graduation, I specialize in English, test preparation, computer literacy, and essential study skills for students ranging from elementary school to college. I believe in creating a supportive, patient environment where complex problems are broken into manageable steps. By connecting challenging concepts to your personal interests, I foster critical thinking and long-term success. I adapt my methods through active observation and open dialogue, ensuring our sessions resonate with your specific learning style. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to helping you master new skills and gain confidence. Witnessing your "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you think creatively and achieve your academic goals. I believe in the educational journey.
