About Erin

Empowering young learners to find joy in discovery is the cornerstone of my 10 years in education. As a certified teacher experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504), I prioritize building your child's confidence over simple memorization. I adapt my methods to your student's unique style, whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect the material to real-world interests to keep motivation high. I believe consistent communication with parents is essential for tracking progress and ensuring success. Whether we meet at your home or the library, I am dedicated to helping your elementary student excel in Math and English. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is why I am truly passionate about teaching.
