About Melinda

Hi! My name is Melinda. I am a dual certified special education and general education teacher. I recently graduated from NWU in 2025. I received my bachelors of science finishing as a triple major with focus areas in elementary and special education, and psychology. With a background in universally designed instruction, I understand how to adapt my approach to meet each child's unique learning style and needs. I focus on creating a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. In my current classroom, I work helping students to develop emotional regulation skills and understanding social dynamics. As a tutor I can help your student navigate testing anxiety and develop strong task management skills.
