For 20 years, I have been helping students unlock their potential through personalized tutoring. I hold a college degree and am a certified teacher, experienced with Orton Gillingham which support learners with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and accommodation plans. My teaching philosophy centers around building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I adapt my methods by observing how you interact with new material and encouraging open communication about what works best for you. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrating small successes. Communication is essential; I provide regular updates to ensure everyone is informed and supported. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is seeing your confidence grow as you master new skills. I am comfortable tutoring in various locations and can assist with Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, Special Education, and Study Skills at the elementary and middle school level.
