Not only do I have a graduate degree in English Education and School Administration, I am trained in Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory method for reading. I am licensed in English and Special Education with experience working with a variety of student demographics (Honor, STEM, Home Hospital, Behavior/Academic/OHI IEP). I am passionate about growing students' confidence and self-efficacy as they grasp the skills necessary to be successful in reading and writing by collecting data to show them their progress! I'd describe my personality as personable, calm, focused. I like tutoring because I love building confidence and skills. Ms.Nikki is amazing! She is extremely patient and knowledgeable and a wonderful engaging teacher! She began tutoring my son in the 3rd grade, he was struggling to learn, had Cs and Ds and now graduating 5th grade with Straight As. She helped him learn the subjects and conquer taking tests. She’s the best! She has made such an impact we will continue to use Ms.Nikki in middle school to ensure he doesn’t skip a beat.
