Are you looking for a childcare situation with an educational element? Then that might be me! I have a Masters in education and taught elementary for 7 years before shifting to nannying. For the past four years I have been doing something I am LOVING: nannying while bringing in play-based educational activities galore. I excel at creating a structured yet flexible environment. Gentleness and smiles paired with boundaries and solid routines are the name of the game. I work at getting to know each child, seeing what they need and where they can grow, then adapting activities to meet their needs. I've used an amazing play-based preschool curriculum which I'd love to use again. These educational elements along with the normal naps, meals, plenty of free-play, and daily outdoor time make for amazing days. Sarah is absolutely amazing! ! She nannied our three kids (including twins) for 2.5 years at her house alongside her two daughters and it was the perfect set-up for our family. She fostered such a creative and encouraging learning environment and gave them foundational early literacy and reading skills. She was constantly setting up counting, measurement, sensory bin, art, baking etc. activities and prioritized spending time outdoors and in nature -- which I deeply appreciated. She did this all with five children under the age of 6, remaining incredibly patient, engaged, kind, consistent, and encouraging! She is a gem and I recommend partnering with her or reching out to learn more!
