About Rachel

With six years of experience as a special education teacher, I've had the opportunity to work with students across reading, writing, math, life skills, and with a variety of IEP goals. My approach is always centered around building a students confidence in their academic skills while providing a supportive, patient environment where students feel comfortable. I specialize in adapting my teaching method to each students unique needs, ensuring they succeed at their own pace. I am also Orton-Gillingham reading trained allowing me to support students with dyslexia and other reading challenges. I am flexible with where I work whether in your home, a public location, or online.
