About Rachel

I'm Rachel, I love this quote by Albert Einstein, and as a teacher I want to be able to recognize when a student is a fish and not judge them as a monkey. I completed my elementary licensure program through the University of Utah and received a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. I have taught Kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary in Granite School District. I finished my student teaching in a second grade classroom at Copperhill s Elementary. I also completed an early childhood internship in a kindergarten classroom at the University of Utah's Child and family center. In addition to my student teaching I have practical experience assisting a licensed speech pathologist, social worker and behavioral therapist helping special needs children with their social skills.
