About Nicole

My name is Nicole, and I am a 31-year-old recent PhD graduate looking to help students and families in the South Bay with tutoring, homework support, and academic skill-building! I have extensive teaching, academic, and research experience and enjoy helping students work through challenging material in a way that feels approachable and encouraging. I am patient, dependable, organized, and comfortable adapting to each student's learning style and needs. I can help with homework, studying, writing and editing, research projects, organization, study skills, and general academic support. With a background in public health and epidemiology, I am especially comfortable with science, research, writing, and statistics. I also have 6+ years of experience working with children and teens. I work full-time during the week with some flexibility and am available weekday mornings/evenings and weekends. I would love to provide your student with extra support, structure, and encouragement!
