About Mia

I am 24 & have worked in child care for 10+ years. I babysit all ages for family, friends, & coworkers. At a private elementary school, I was an After School Teacher & Camp Counselor, instructing individuals & 20+ student classrooms. I was an administrative assistant that directly worked with schools, parents, & children. I volunteered in SPED classrooms for 5+ years. I have a car, taken child development courses, & I am CPR certified. Working with kids, I see their unique interaction with the world. I always bring my compassion & joyful attitude. I am firm, but kind & have a deep consideration of all personalities. My foundation for child care is creating a safe, fun, & routine-focused environment. With these core principles, I tailor to the needs of any child, so all involved will thrive. I like to do crafts, bake, play pretend & go outside. I am happy to do pick ups/drop offs, homework help, and minor cooking/cleaning duties.
