About Sam

Hi! My name is Sam, and I am relocating to Chico, California from Charlotte, North Carolina. I am a Montessori teacher with 6 years of classroom experience at Charlotte Preparatory School, and I have worked in childcare since I was 15 as a babysitter, nanny, and caregiver. In addition to teaching, I have also been a school bus driver for the past 3 years, so safety, responsibility, and reliability are extremely important to me. I am confident transporting children, following routines, and staying calm in busy situations. I am currently looking for a nannying or childcare position in the Chico area, especially since my significant other will be attending a park ranger academy from September through April, and the timing does not fully align with the traditional school schedule. I love working with children of all ages and enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel supported in a safe and structured environment.
