About Andrew

With four years of childcare experience, I am dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment where children can thrive. I currently work with Chico Unified School District (2023-present) where I worked in elementary-high school classrooms. I also spent two years working through ARCH, providing in-home childcare support to families. I have recently graduated from Chico State and with coursework in Early Childhood Education, and I am beginning online graduate-level coursework in education. I enjoy engaging with children through outdoor play, school work, board games, and age-appropriate technology. Safety is always my priority, and I am CPR certified through the Red Cross. I can assist with cooking, carpooling, housekeeping, and travel support. I value clear, consistent communication with parents and am comfortable enforcing household rules as directed. I truly care about the children I work with and strive to help them feel safe, supported, and confident.
