About Melissa

I have over 3 years of experience working with children in an elementary school setting of all ages and specialized experience in a kindergarten classroom setting. I have about 2 years of experience working with children with autism as a behavioral support specialist and technician in the ABA therapy field as well. I have a passion for working with children, I have been told I have a very kind and patient demeanor and believe these traits are my greatest strengths. I am experienced in working with infants to children of all ages. I love creating unique activities catered to children and their interests like games, arts and crafts, science and math projects, dance and music activities and finding innovative ways to help them learn and connect with the world, and ensuring it is developmentally appropriate. I can help with grocery shopping, cooking, running errands, tutoring and pet care as well. I am currently in college working on my credits for transfer to become a teacher :)
