About Cassandra

Hi! I'm Cassandra I have a bachelors in child development from SDSU. I have over 10 years experience of childcare. Working with children has always been a passion of mine so much so that I started as early as I could. I worked in both home and classroom settings with children who have special needs as well. I have 3 dogs myself so I am a big animal lover and very comfortable with friendly pets in the home. I'm an active person I like to hike and gym on my free time, I'm more than willing to have fun outings and walks with the children. I worked very closely alongside families building strong but professional bonds. I've been able to manage working with children who have behavioral issues with methods such as priming and the premack principal. I acquired deescalation skills for when children go through intense emotions. I've created and implemented activities using DRDPs to match the developmental progress children should be at to ensure those milestones are met and mastered.
