About Megan

I was a high school teacher for 14 years, and during my first years, I also did private tutoring after school in both individual and group settings. I am currently taking a "gap year" from teaching, but will be going back in the fall of 2025. My expertise is in helping students with general time management and organization, but I specialize in English (ELA) - reading, writing, grammar, spelling, essay organization, etc. I have also tutored basic math (up to Algebra 2). I love to help students who feel incredibly busy or overwhelmed get the tools they need to be more "on top" of their school work and be successful. I also love to give assistance to students who have fallen behind, and need accountability and encouragement to make positive progress in their classes that they can feel proud of. Megan is a wonderful tutor and person. I literally can't say enough good things about her. She helped tutor my 12 year old daughter in all 4 core classes: English, Math, History and Science. Since she has so much experience as a teacher, she was able to connect with my daughter at her level. Megan is patient, kind, organized and extremely generous with her time. She went above and beyond to show up for my daughter and help her pass 7th grade. I'm so grateful and couldn't recommend her enough.
