About Megan

I was a high school teacher for 14 years, and during my first years, I also did private tutoring after school in both individual and group settings. I am currently taking a "gap year" from teaching, but will be going back in the fall of 2025. My expertise is in helping students with general time management and organization, but I specialize in English (ELA) - reading, writing, grammar, spelling, essay organization, etc. I have also tutored basic math (up to Algebra 2). I love to help students who feel incredibly busy or overwhelmed get the tools they need to be more "on top" of their school work and be successful. I also love to give assistance to students who have fallen behind, and need accountability and encouragement to make positive progress in their classes that they can feel proud of. I have worked with students who have ADHD, dyslexia, and other cognitive learning challenges. Please reach out if you have any questions!
