My focus is on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I actively listen and observe initial interactions with new material and vary my teaching strategies. I encourage open communication. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. I have a high school degree and hold certifications in CPR and First Aid. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I would love to help your student succeed.
