For the past seven years, I have been dedicated to helping students excel academically. I hold a college degree and specialize in Math and Test Preparation for high school students. My teaching philosophy centers around creating an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By actively listening and observing, I assess each student's individual learning style and adapt my methods accordingly. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and breaking down complex problems into manageable steps. Open communication builds trust and a collaborative environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and would love to help you achieve your academic goals.
