About Maxwell

Hi, I'm Max, a Behavioral Health Specialist in the Psychiatric Emergency Department at the Children's Hospital of Colorado. I bring experience supporting children with medical and behavioral complexities. Growing up, I played soccer and volleyball, but sustained a shoulder injury which transitioned my competitive fix to Esports. I got into songwriting at this time and have learned guitar, bass, and piano since. In my free time, I love cooking, songwriting, playing video games, going on hikes, and going on dates with my girlfriend of 2. 5 years, who I live with in Westminster. I also have a cat! I like working with kiddos because I love to watch them soak up and learn about the world around them. I love having the honor of exposing a kid to the Beatles (etc.) for the first time, or watching them build their first ever house in Minecraft. Consider me a date night specialist!
