About Maureen

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as a Certified teacher, as well as a law degree, I specialize in Social Sciences, Language Arts, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for elementary through high school students. I believe every learner possesses unique strengths, so I tailor my approach by using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue to suit your specific needs. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every milestone to build your confidence. I prioritize clear communication to ensure we remain aligned on your goals. Seeing a student's excitement grow as they master a new skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I am truly passionate about creating a supportive space where you can thrive and discover a genuine love for learning.
